is mixing different brands of gasoline ok?
I usually get my gas from COOP or superstore gasbar, but today I checked in a Shell. I still had about quarter tank left (regular 87) and I used the shell bronze (i think 87 grade). but after I drove it about 5 min, I can tell the engine became really weak. the gas pedal couldn't muster much power. I don't recall this happening last time I filled up at shell with an almost empty tank.
so is mixing two diff brands of gas from two diff stations not good? or did shell change its formulas or something? I heard they added nitrogen enriched detergents but I don't really buy into that stuff. I usually go for price

I miss sheetz... great cheap food
Anyway, Shell uses nitrogen, trust me... my fuel economy drops ~20% when I use Shell gas. As far as mixing gas, it won't harm anything. I just know I like to stay away from Shell whenever possible. I'm a BP man myself
