Two words: "safe drop".

A lot of courier items don't ACTUALLY require signatures - they can basically just leave it on your doorstep, assuming it's out of the weather. Problem with a safe drop is that you don't have a leg to stand on. They can say that they left it out of the weather and out of plain sight.

So I would say just let it go. I know it sucks - I would call and complain, but don't think you're going to see any insurance money. It's hard enough to win an insurance claim on a LEGITIMATE issue with a courier company.

If you want to be a dick...the place has a policy on some packages to just leave it there. You gonna go outa your way to make trouble about an employee following his job directions?

 

i would say just drop it. Its so much trouble to go through all of that.

 

it sucks they did that, but karma can be a bitch man. just know that dude will get his one day and you'll be laugin then.

 

Ok i didnt really wanna go through all that. And he left it right behind the open gate right in front of the house, but ill let it go.
