well, i don't read muscle car mags, so i might just catch it, lol, just kidding.

to be honest, i don't really read that many car magazines anymore, i've pretty much read and seen it all.

 

Nothing against import cars I am just saying that every one of the "import" or "sport compact" mags I read/look at have strait up rice-mobils in them. Lambo doors, big wings, god-awfull huge stereo's, and they are backed up by semi-ok mods but they are all blinged out, chrome plated, and trailor queens. Plus how many "built and boosted 500hp B series cars" can you read about before you get tired of seeing it. I read parts catologs lol.

 

^ same here, that's pretty much why i don't read magazines anymore, i read more of car and driver for new concepts or i occassionally read motorcycle mags, but that's about it..

 

well super street doesnt have ricy cars in them, there mostly cars tuned in japan that make like 600 hp in a b series motor, or how to get 300 hp out of your motor for like 5g's and stuff like that, its mainly performance. by the way marty why are you on a civic forum if youre all about muscle cars, nothing personal, just wondering

 

he's not the only one, plus, superstreet is basically a waste, i had a subscription for a year or two, and i swear every issue had the exact same articles with slightly different cover cars. as for the readers rides, ha, i laugh at all of them everytime i see that section.

you know what, i'm going to create a magazine called "Backyard Builders" where all of the cars on a budget (realistic) and none of them can be sponsered, that's what everyone wants to see, not show room and trailor queens.

 

^^ i have to agree with you on that one, ive only seen 1issue on a ek hatch thatwas done on the budget in the last lke 3 years, you should you would probably make more money thatn they did
