Most you could spend on your Civic?
a project I have planned out, I have it budgeted to about 25k to start. that should put me at the level to begin competing, but I know it will go up from there as soon as I start racing it. you soon find where you are lacking, and need to upgrade. and thats not on the car I have now.
since the car I have now is street driven, I would want a little more visuals, so I will safely say I could realistically spend another 20-30k on it.

$23,600 is the total give or take $1000. IMO, not worth it, since by the time this is all said and done, I could get an M5

LOL! This reminds me... I saw this guy on NOPI tunervision that claimed to have put over 60k in a 3rd gen Eclipse!![sm=yikesomg.gif] It had a lot of odd stuff done to it. Not my taste, but it was just amazing that he actually spent that much money on it. Seeing I left a few things off like Brembo BBK, clutch upgrade, the things I would learn on the way etc, I can see how the price can continue to escalate dramatically. Hmmm... let's see... 60k on the Civic or a new E46 M3?.......... Great!! I'll take both!

Personally, the sky is the limit when it comes to tuning my ride. For the time being, it is my daily driver, so basically i'll be making it as comfortable and stable as possible. Once the bbk goes on, the car gets lowered, and i get a decent grill/lip kit, the outside will be done. Then its all motor from there. I WILL be beefing up the D-internals and boosting, that will probably two springs from now. Overall, i can see myself spending an easy 20 grand on my daily driver, since i have no intention of racing it nationally or anything. I simply want a fast, slick looking everyday car.
I'm hoping to drop at least 1500 in April of this coming year (****in' mighigan winters...).
