I finally got off my ****ty Sprint plan today and got onto the Verizon network...I got the Droid! So far the phone is badass with so many apps...Anybody else have this phone?

 

i'm on sprint, planning to get off of it next year. Waiting to see if the iphone would get to the verizon network.

I've used my friend's droid and that phone is pretty nice, i would say it might be a bit better than the iphone. Except i like the variety of apps that are available for the iphone. I like the droids browser and call quality though.

 

What? your saying the Droid doesn't have a variety of apps? It doesn't have as many as Iphone, but by next year it will have way more, simply because Android OS is better than Apples, IMO.

 

Please tell me how you use an opinion to prove what would be a fact.

Also, it's not like between now and then Apple isn't going to get more Apps. Are you saying you expect Android to catch up and then some in the next year even though the iPhone had a 2+ year head start?

I think that's a foolish claim to make. Maybe in a few years... but one... seriously doubt it.

 

The apps are growing like crazy right now, if it keeps up it will easily pass iphone apps within a year. Maybe it is foolish claim right now, but only time will tell whether its true or not.

 

i'm a iphone user but the android OS are really impressive. If apple doesnt do much soon, i might make a jump to a android phone. Reading the other day about the 4.0 update doesnt add much, jailbreaking does most of the things they are finally adding. We shall see what happens this summer with the 4.0 and supposedly a new iphone.

 

projected numbers say that it will have more apps in a year. and that phone is amasing my friend was gunna get a brand new verizon plan just to get one and his parents pay for his at&t plan lol
