MPG
Hey I am happy to allways have new members and welcome you to post your heart out but this in general is a civic question so it can and needs to go into a section accordingly. I have allready moved one of your post from OT but I will leave this one but please try and check the other sections out and post civic question/comments in the correct one. Welcome to HCF.
BTW both get near the same, the LX is lighter so you would think the added weight would make the EX get worse milage but the EX also has around 20 more hp so it takes less throttle to move it any certain amount of distance. It is nearly the same.

So my question was off topic for the off topic section, huh? ha.. I'll try to be more careful where I place my posts, Marty (I mean that in a non-smart *** way). I have heard that the EX and LX get similar fuel numbers, but which generation of those cars gets the best? When I test drove a 2006 Civic LX the sticker said 40 MPG highway..
