well kceasy uses the ares fileshare network anyway. Does anyon know why ares wont run on my laptop? Im running vista if it makes a difference

depends what version you got on the laptop...for some reason itsa pain to get it runnin the first time, it will eventually connect. You have a nickname? and messed with all the options, etc. That fit with your connection and laptop

I'm not tryin to sound like a jack*** or push anyone's buttons when I say this but just go on itunes and buy what you like. The quality will be better than any of the free downloaded stuff anyway. Now I;m not sayin I don't download because I do, but the sound quality is not good most of the time so now I just suck it up and pay for it.

Apparently you havent tried Bittorrent. The quality kicks itunes' ***

Plus, you get the music like months before it comes out... now that's quality to me.

I can invite people to oink once I become a power user... which is going to be several months from now.
