I went to work yesterday (monday) from a bad weekend after my dog died and we are told that me and everyone else are going to be out of a job as of June 30, 2006. The company I work for is Washington Mutual. They have decided to move over seas to India. I guess this is a wake up call for me to go to school and get a good career. I want be able to do any thing to my car for a long while. Sorry to mope around and be cry baby, but I had to let you all know my anger right now. And I had just got me a house.

 

Man that sucks man.

 

That sux pretty bad, but maybe you will find an even better job. My mom is also going to lose her job since she works in manufacturing and they are shipping all the jobs to the Philipines. The irony here is we are an Indian family, and my mom's job is bieng outsourced.

 

ALOT of companys do that..move to places like india because the laber is so cheap so more money for them, and then hard working people like yourself get left with no job..that sucks man,i hate not working and making money, good luck with what happends

things happen for a reason. I was in a similar situation a few jobs ago.

just bought a house and got let go because my "services were no longer needed."

it's okay, I still got my house and my old company went under.

it may be a struggle but things usually work out for the better.

 

I dont see what the blue collars will do eventually when everybody is outsourced.

 

Damn dude, that sux, one of my old friend's from high school works out there...sorry about it man...something will work out though...I saw you the other week on my side of town, too. In the Bi-Lo parking lot on Pamplico Hwy...

And when you say everyone...you mean EVERYONE? b/c I just remembered, my sister-in-law works there, too. Just wondering...

 

Yea I was wondering also about that EVERYONE who works for WaMu is going overseas? I dont understand. You can come work for Wells Fargo..
