I actually heard something about this but I didn't know that it was going to be anything special. Too bad I missed it but I just got back here like 10 mins ago. Lookin good though.

 

Nice show but how do you find out about a show? Im lookin for a show in teh Chicagoland area, so if u live around here and know a show tell me!

theres actually a ton of shows around here...theyre mostly hot rod shows tho

 

Here in San Angelo, Tx. This Sat. Oct.2nd we're having a hurricane benefit show at Circuit City. All proceeds go to the Red Cross.
If anyone is close by please try to come. There will be a burnout contest[sm=burnout.gif], car hopping contest, A Halo tournament [sm=shootshoot.gif]inside and a whole bunch more. Show starts at 12.

I remeber in my home town like 7 years ago I put my civic in the local car show that consisted of nothing but classics and muscle head, I mean cars. Got quite a few lookers and then people were asked to vote for the best car there. SOme of my firends went to vote for me and the people who were taking the votes verbally kept wondering why they would want to vote for it and if they saw the other nice cars there. lol, I knew then that this import thing was gonna be a long road. Lot easier now that I actually have a "fast" import. Back then money was so tight and hard to put it all together. Tuning was rough too with so much lack of knowldge.

 

This show had more imports than domestics, and the classics made up maybe 10% of all the cars there. Didn't count them but I bet there were more Civics than anything (plus a couple of white Evos for you LEVIII). It was sponsored by the college's car club, which I think started as an import only club a few years ago. So those of you who are looking for shows in your area, that might be a place to start looking.

p.s. Nail13unny, the red hatch has a fine mesh grill that may or may not have an intercooler behind it (I don't know). The green one is not turboed.
