i have a deep scracth [srry dont know how to spell it ] on my game and it wont load the 1st level sometimes, is there any household stuff that can fix this problem?? thanks

 

there are cd repair kits for like $30 at walmart that actually work. Toothpaste will work sometimes, make sure it doesnt have baking soda or anything abbrasive in it and lightly rub it in with a toothbrush.. I've used toothpaste a lot on my music cds and it fills the scratches in perfeclty

 

Modchips FTW. Get a modchip installed and then make a copy of all your games. That way if you ever get another scratch, the original can just be recopied.

 

ive also heard some weird **** like spreading peanut butter on the cd or something, i wouldnt try it

 

Game shops will sometimes buff games for free.

 

there's a company that repairs game discs, all you do is ship it off, and they'll fix it and send it back. my brother's friend scratched one of his games and we sent it off and it came back working like new. i'll see if i can find out what the name of the website is.
