I think she is replacing the old exhaust with a new one. Dual exhausts don't have a purpose in a I-4 engine.

Well they won't install it for me (insurance?) but I asked them to just cut the old exhaust off and drill the bolts out... that way I should be able to install it myself pretty easily later tonight [:@]

that's such B/S... but that's the way most shops in my area are: They do not install parts that you bring with yourself... because they are dealers of certain companys and they only want to sell their overpriced/discontinued crap

Just picked it up. They cut the old exhaust off the back of the cat for me, and temporarily bolted it back together. 20 bucks, lol. The car's in the garage now, I'm gonna go back out there soon and take the exhaust off.

The second I walked into the house it started pouring rain, so I'm glad I pulled it inside. Hope this doesn't take too long.

Well, at least you'll be able to have it all snazzy and fixed soon!

On a completely related note- mxs, have I ever told you you're my hero? My goal is to someday be able to do half the stuff you can do. I'm considering moving to NY so you can mentor me... I totally didn't mean that in a stalker-ish way, though...
