Hey everyone, just figured i would show you guys my new back-up/off-duty gun.
It's a Glock 26 9mm. Great gun, very small and reliable as hell too.

Nice.I like it. Once I'm out on my own and 21 (in 10 1/2 more months), I plan on getting a hand gun for protection. I also plan on getting trained to use it properly. Heh, my mom is very against the idea of me owning a gun though..... Apparently it's just not something a woman should own...

 

why do people continue to post about their weapons on the internet?

 

SHould have to pass an IQ test as well as background check. Then they wonder why gun haters drool all over themselves given ANY opportunity.

Some people are into guns. I am not so much, but figured i would share my purchase and see how other people like them.

 

Its just that your "target" audience, ( sorry) are very impressionable and you have influence over them. I hope you know that. So, some things are better left unsaid. Guns, drug use, etc probably fall into that category. I am a staunch supporter of American's Second Ammendment rights and I'll end it there.

Just be aware of your influence, that's all.

I am not telling anyone to go and rob stores and hold people up (especially since i deal with people like that everyday), i am just seeing if anyone else has one or are into these things.

 

I personally love guns as a hobby. I want to get my licsene but its a coulple of thousand here in NYC.

I have been around guns all my life cause of my dad and have fired all sorts of hand guns rifles and shotguns and nuthing can releve stress like letting off a few clips.

I love glocks too, they are one of my favorite gun types just under the H&K's.

 

I think you are missing the point. No offense to anyone on here, but , the demographics are such that this is hardly the place to condon or imply condoning the ownership or glorification of gun ownership. Look at some prior posts referring to guns as "My new Toy" . Then everyone will be "so surprised" when some EMO goes and offs him/herself.

Check other threads about members dealing with depression and just being at that transitional , awkward age. Not everyone has proven their ability to discern the difference between fantasy and reality. There is no reset/ do-over button to life.

You know this!Maybe even first hand. In this world, people only know what you tell them, true or false, real or fake. Read into the very common menatlity on here ie: can you top this, faster, quicker,lower., shinier,wider, etc, etc. Do you not take anything away from reading those types of posts and then still think this is the place to take a gun interest/ownership survey??? Come on now!

And, in fairness to LEGAL gun ownership, the same could and should be said for any weapons (swords, knives , bomb making ****) .
We have society that places next to zero value on lives thinking everyhting is a FN game. You know and I know, it's NO game. You die, your DEAD! Done! End of story. On that pleasant note, I will step down since i prolly said more than people want to hear but TFB!

Quite seriously, when the majority of the members on a forum are younger than me (shut up trent)it is definitly not the right audience to even show a gun to.
