Default My new ride

Just got my new ride in the other day. 05 CBR600RR my 1st bike, i've never even been on a bike before. Basically said 1 day Im gonna buy a bike. So i ordered it and a week later bam! straight from the factory! She's 360lbs and revs to 15. Taught myself to ride over the week on it too lol.

That is a sweet ride man. If I was into street bikes CBRs would definitely be a top pick. When are you going to get the m2 license or does your state require seperate bike licenses?

dont buy a brand new bike as ur first. stupid choice. just cuz u can ride it down the street doesnt mean u know how to drive it..then u run into something u cant control and trash it because of being in experienced, ull know what im talking about..its best to get a older bike and u can beat up getting a real feel for being on a bike in ANY condition. then get a nice one when you know what ur doing...

that is a nice bike tho.

- well for the time being here in saskatchewan i have my 'learners' this was just 3 written tests. The only restrictions are i cant ride with a passenger, can't ride at night, and can't go 100kms from my house.

- no, i just learned to ride a week or 2 ago, i cant do any tricks nor do i plan to with a brand new bike and being very new to it.

- yes it was god awful scary. for 2 days it sat there because i was afraid of doing something dumb. my dad taught me the basics of shifting. so i just practiced on my street early morning with no traffic, just rode the clutch (can do that with wet clutches), and eventually picked up speed, turned, and now i ride it all over the city. very easy to learn.

- i never wanted to settle on a bike i dont want. as with most things, i want 1 thing, i wont settle for less. i wanted an RR since 03, and i just went for it. the only thing i DID settle for was not getting a 1000RR. 600's fine for now since i dont plan on racing or anything anyways.

and thanks for the compliments
