it really sucks. I mean when i put a disk in there or a DVD it starts to freeze every few seconds. It's really starting to **** me off. Any idea what might be causing this or what i should do to fix it. The game that i currently playing isn't scratchec at all. Please help

i had the same problem... all i did was clean it with that can of air thingy for computers cause it was hella dirty on the inside... it works now.

 

or UPGRADE!! get a 360 or even a new PS2 they aren't too much $$$

 

Do what I do. When my electronics fail me I throw them out the window. That autta show em'

 

you need to clean the lense. get a cleaning disk. it will be a disc with like a very fine soft brush on one part of the cd. pop it in and let it run. it may even play music and explain in detail what the cd is doing too.

 

either that or your lens is burnt up and really cant read the disc anymore. So you may have to get a new lens.

 

I take them apart and used the parts for something else.

hahaha thats what i have been doing. it's just getting old having to do that everytime that i want to use it. hopefully the air can will work, i really don't want to have to get a new one. i am in the process of getting a 360
