Right, The whole world is against N Korea since they're were unable to pay their debts to the world, what they're doing just make it worse.
An addition to china is their communism is different from N korea. It focus on boosting the economy and wealth of middle class (Leninsm/ Maoxism) than military and dynasty dictatorship in Korea (Stalinsm). But, you NEVER mess with a cornered fox, NEVER. Invading them is the nastiest war you could ever imagine.

Japan navy is good because they're based on UK navy, the best in the world.

i for one think that we aren't going to war anytime soon. first we have to get out of Iraq. second congress isn't going be as trigger happy as they were with iraq either. Bush won't press for another war unless it is absolutly needed. i think they tested it just to show that they have one. they want some sort of leveler for negociations (<--- spelling). They now that they are vastly out maned. I think that cooler head will preveal.
i dont think north korea is vastly out manned by any means...out-machined maybe, but N.Korea is a millitary state, the main focus is on they're army and they are ready for war at all times. For the USA to attempt and invasion would be the dumbest thing possible...just look at how much trouble they are having against iraq's scattered and disorganized forces.

. Oh, by the way, Scuds are Soviet/Russian missles, I dont think we have them. We have missles called Patriot.
what makes you think I was talking about the US? You think I think we should extend our own troops to the Korean Pennisula? No

The UN needs to do something, whether they use the Russian military, Japans, China's, or anyone elses It doesnt bother me. At this point this is REGIONAL issue. Not a global one yet.

very good point.

I think a lot of people are going on "pre 9/11" type mentalities. In this day in age with National security being a huge deal in a number of nations, and Terrorists becoming more and more capable, you have to understand how big a threat North Korea has become.

We already know North Korea is not on good terms with the United States, whats stopping a ruthless dictator like Kim from passing this technology onto Terrorists states? What happens if smaller countires like Yemen and Syria get a hold of these weapons?

What happens if Pakistan gets a hold of them, and uses them against Israel? You have to look down the road. Sure the Soviets MAY have put Nukes on the black market, but you cant say for sure. Have you ever found them? lol Now we KNOW a brutal dictatorship has Nuclear ability within striking distance of a lot of countries.

and their economy isnt the most upstanding, if anyone was looking to make money off the black market its that piece of sh t Kim.

lol sounds good, but I dont believe that for a second. If they already sucessfully tested it, and have let the world know about it now, im sure they have had the capability for at least a couple months.

We arent allowed access to ports, airports, or anything that is seen exiting that country.

Maybe you're right, but im too much of a skeptic to believe North Korea is keeping their mouth shut on a project like this, I would go so far to say certin people are funding this project outside the country...

Military action will do nothing but set off a nuclear weapon. If I recall Kim has already threatened to kill his own people for aid in the past. If he's going down someone will go with him. Eliminating him militarily without huge casualities would require incredible reconnaissance, followed by flawless execution.

All we can really do imo, is tell him he can do whatever with his nukes, but we won't be pressured into giving him aid in exchange for his not using him, and if he does use them he's commiting suicide.

China is communist BUT, china wouldnt do so well if we didnt give them anymore money and that would be dumb on their part to screw with us.

you know that china loan us the money to pay the war with iraq.
