RE: NC cracking down on streetracing
yo, that reminds me.
when i was in florida last week, i saw a nearly mint condition EG honda civic si.
it was red and still had the original muffler and plastic hubcaps. lol.
no dents, scratches or dings. the only thing wrong with it was the paint was faded from all those years of the florida sun.
it was sitting in an expensive outlet mall outside of orlando. I was tempted to hunt the owner down and threaten him to sell it to me. lol.
damm, i miss my old civic hatchback...

Hopefully they do it in Baltimore, so I can get to some of these public auctions.

It sucks that because of these morons' actions, all the import enthousiasts have to be labeled as idiots.

Anyways, street racing has been under attack since *I* used to street race, which was a LONG time ago. It will always be under attack as long as people are doing it. I smartened up... it's a pretty dumb idea, especially with people who don't know their limits, nor their car's limits. Doing 130+ on a surface street is just plain stupid. At least when I did it... we only hit 105, then shut 'er down... not saying that's much better, but we knew our limits.

yeah though street-racing is evil and all....i dont think they should lose thier cars, that is just wrong.....though, if they had stolen parts on the car, then yeah they should lose it...
and when my little car group used to race, we to had a speed limit, it ranged from 100-110, pending on the cars racing, going 120+ is just plain dumb....
