I'm pretty sure Marty is right, my g/f's friend went to thedoctor and they had to ask her if they could tell her parents that she was active, she said no so they couldn't tell her mom.

Parents of minors are allowed access to medical records as long as the minor does not have an STD/Abortion. She's 17, her mother had the legal right to know. That's my understanding of the law in TN

Yup. I almost said something about that. You should contact the state board of medicine and inform them that the doctor breached your trust. They will fine him, and might revoke his license if he has done it before.
