ok, this morning when i arrived at school with my new sol with a paint job not a month old some ***** decides to spit on it, well after controling myself and not killing his *** then and there, i grab a sheet of paper and wipe the saliva off, well waht i didnt think about is the effects of paper on black paint while i was frantically trying to get the spit off...so it made a bunch of nice little scratches on my car...i was told by some freinds that wax will fix the little scratches...and i hoep it will, or i think i might run this kid over....so anyway, had to get that out, and also any tips on getting the scratches off??

 

Try Race Glaze, a sealer works wonders, be careful since the paint is new most shops recomend 90 days before waxing. Good luck

I don't think wax is going to work. I think polish takes the scratches out. A word on paint jobs, if you rub the paint with ANYTHING that isn't meant to be used to wash your car it will scratch the surface. It won't take the paint out, but it will damage the clear coat. THat guy that spit on your car is a douche. I woulda beat his ***.

 

get a bottle of royal blue and put it on. it gets rid of scratches and it makes your car shine.

after the paint is a month old it is ok to wax it
wash car
swirel remover (takes care of fine scratches)
then wax of choice i use all meguiars.

i would've f-ed him up right on the spot, but mad propz for your patience tho... on the paint try the meguiars thing they were talking bout on the speed channel, i cant remember what it was
