I figured I'd come here and ask the guys what to get a guy for Christmas! This particular guy is someone I'm "talking to" (meaning we go on dates every once in a while and he's wanting me to be his girlfriend). I care for him very deeply and want to get him some presents that he'll enjoy and actually like and use. He owns a '97 Civic that he's currently doing a b18 (? I think) swap to, and an older Integra as a daily driver (both stick).

He loves these cars very much - they're almost like his children! This guy is 26 years old and a tech over at my job (Honda dealership). So any suggestions would be appreciated. (I'd like to buy him some stuff for his car because I figure he'll actually use it)

Well, the Civic is pretty much apart right now (no fenders or bumper, interior is gutted at the moment as well) becuase he's working on that engine swap and he's also trying to upgrade the interior (how? I don't know). So the only thing I KNOW he has, is the engine.[:@] This makes it pretty hard because I definately don't know what he wants! He's mentioned that he wanted to do a sleeper-effect Civic.

For his birthday, I already bought his exhaust system (he put it on himself at work and loves it)

Id get him a Mugen carbon fiber intake. (just kidding, thats way too expensive, but Im sure hed love you for it)

Maybe a cold air intake? DC headers? Sound equipment, speakers or amp?

It just depends on what hes already has.

 

I'm quite sure he'd love a nice little turbo for it. He wouldn't have any problem fitting that right on the B18.

 

mabey you can just get him a gift certificate for a local shop so he can go get what he wants..and a teddy bear

 

Short Shifter?

 

Unfortunately, we don't have a "local shop". But that Short shifter sounds like a possible winner.... He was mentioning that he needs to get headers for the civic.
