The new eclipse is not impressive in the least in appearance and performance although some aftermarket performance parts will enhance it. But as someone else, you can get more for less in another car. Why buy the eclipse?

I think its aimed for the chicks with too much money, thats why Ford makes the V6 Mustang

Not too fond of the new design. A bit bubbly. I agree about the power / weight ratio though... Waaaay too heavy.

yeah if I had to choose between the new Civ and that Elipse, hands down I'd go with the Civic.

I liked the look of it in the commercials, then I actually saw one on the road, garbage was the first thing that came to mind.
