The New Honda Fit 2009 : Honda felt like it had such a successful launch with the Honda Fit last year, that it already designed a new one. The new Fit looks a little bigger than before, but i think it represents an evolutionary rather than revolutionary change.

 

A picture or link to more information would have been useful.

I like the look of the 2009 Fit

There's two different things here...

There's the 1000 Mugen Civic Si's in the US.

and there's the 300 Mugen Civic RR in JDM land.

The difference, US Mugen = Si with suspension, wheels, catback & body kit

JDM land Mugen = Type R with a bunch of stuff

Mugen RR = Type R+
Mugen Si = Si- (only nice thing about it is the color)


As for the Fit, while it's only been available in the US for 2 years now, it's been available in other parts of the world as the Fit or Jazz in it's current shape for 5 or 6 years now. So 2009 is in line with the typical Honda cycle of design refresh. Just how the Civic is most likely going to get a facelift for 2009, and a whole new model for 2011, with the CR-V coming in 2012, and the accord in 2013...

The only vehicle that's gone past the typical cycle, is the S2000, which has been the same shape for 8 years now (note, there was a refresher done that made the chasis designation change from AP1 to the current AP2, which included projector HIDs and a bunch of other changes, but no change to the general shape of the car)
