I believe the MSRP is something like 32k.

MSRP = $29,500

It includes:

Track tuned suspension: $1100
Mugen GP Wheels: $1900
Mugen Catback: $unknown, assume $1500ish (axle back is $800)
Mugen Shift ****: $300
Mugen Aero Kit: $3000
Bridgestone KDW: $600

Add it up and you're talking $8400, plus install and paint.

No one has really dyno'd one that I've seen yet, so no one has really seen what the exhaust does. I've talked to a few people who have driven them/own them in this area, and they're saying it feels like it's got more power than the Si sedans... and that the response is a little better, but that they handle significantly better.

Not worth the money for the small added power... but to have 1 of 1,000..... $8k is a small increase to pay.

supply and demand = dealer markups... thats like the new Shelby GT 500. MSRP is about 50k, but good luck finding one for less than 80k. It should be illegal IMO.

they have one at the local dealership here... looks nice but they are adding a little extra to the price tag. Thieves want 37k for it. Way too much but its a nice ride.

The dealership I bought my '08 Si at had a s2000 CR in the showroom... looked a lot nicer than the Mugen, but nowhere near as practical.

Also, s2k, not so comfy to sit in... there's an obnoxious 3" wide bar that runs right through the footwell on both sides of the car.
