I thought that this deserved its own thread...how would you feel if you were driving your modded WRX to a car show, and while zipping along the back roads of sandusky ohio, this happened..


Ticket to the Nopi finals- $40
Gas to the event- $38
Beer for the event- $ 22
Hitting a deer on your way there, and leaving bits of the deer jammed in your front end so that everyone knows what happen- Priceless.

my buddy totaled his 6 inch body dropped show truck with about $20,000 into it on his way to Nationals. It usually got trailored everywhere but his trailor was out of comission when Nats rolled around and decieded to drive it [&:]

 

there was a guy at the mopar nationals last year that had an all stock, all original (except for tires and fluids) 1962 factory production drag car, and he was the original owner. it had like 60,000 miles on it, and he was cruising after once he got it off the trailer in columbus, and he and the wife decided to take it down on the highway and open it up..
well, a white tail jumped off an enbankment, landing across the front end, destroying the car. the guy flipped out and wrong all over the wrecked front end "this is a 1 of *so many* factory production race car. ii bought it new in 1962 and some stupid deer destroyed it last night. the other guys in the show class got together and discussed it, and they voted him best in class.

 

Looks like that WRX dude got really lucky... I've seen muuuuch worse deer encounters.

That happened to my friend, AND his dad going to the same car show, on different years.

 

that would suck, getting your car you put so much money into hit by a dear....i live out in the country and theres alot of people hitting dear around here, just the other day at work this lady came in all crying and wanted to use the phone cuz she just hit a dear, the side and front of her mini van was screwd...you hear about it at least 1ns a week, and up here when a car hits a dear, police have a list of people who they call, and these guys come and scrape up the dear, and gut it, and eat it..and they why that they have to gut it is pretty dam gross
