last month i a 3yr old volvo in the shop cause mice had eaten up the engine wiring harness
had to replace the whole harness , cost $550 just for the wiring harness, then there was the time i opened the hood on an old chrysler, that a guy just drove in , & there was a live rat behind the air filter , sometimes theres more than just an engine under the hood

 

Accelerator throttle? She needs to stop trying to use automotive terms and get back in the kitchen lol

Who can't repair a broken turn signal? Let's see... is the bulb blown? If it is, replace it. Is the fuse blown? Replace it. Wiring screwed up? Re-wire it. It's not like it'd take forever.
