Well this morning on the way to work in Anaheim I was pulled over By Anaheims Finest, The Officer said do you know how fast you were going, and I replied, Well I guess your going to tell me how fast I was going? He said I was going 69 in a 40 zone. I said can I see the the radar and where exactly was I speeding? He hesitated for a moment and said I was by the lumber yard.Once again I said can I see the radar. I really dont believe I was going that fast. He said you'll have to see it in court . By this Time Im like great here we go. He asked me for my License, registation and proof of Insurance and went back to the car. At this point I was thinking where the hell was I going that fast. I rememember punching it to get over to the left lane but that was about it, but 69 in rush hour traffic. I was scrathing my head , maybe he heard the my setup and figured I was going fast. At this point Im looking at his car and I dont really see any radar setup. I mean he could have had a hand held or something in his car out of view. He comes back to the car and does his customery walk around the whole vehicle. I can get you for tint, no licensce in the front , the whole nine yards. He said any tint in the front is illegal. I have medium at the most on the driver and passenger side. Im like here we go Im getting served.[>:] I was trying to be as cooperative as possible but Im like wow I hope my suit is clean for court. He then said "consider this a warning and the next time I catch you I will write you up for Everything!" wOW WTF just happened. I couldnt believe it. Maybe he didnt have me on radar, Maybe he checked my record and found nothin on there and decided to give me a break I dont know, I am a little older than most on this forum(In my Thirties). ALL I CAN SAY IS[8D]I FULLY RESPECT WHAT THESE GUYS DO OUT THERE. i KNOWS THERE ARE WORST THINGS GOING ON DOWN HERE, BUT I GOT LUCKY! tHANK YOUUUUUUUUUUUU God. Not all Cali Cops are bad!

I guess my licencse plate must go back on the front and Tint must come off Ouch! I thought light tint was ok???????? Oh yea Take my foot out of the gas too.[8D]

you have to have a front license plate in cali?

 

The rear windows on the hatch have like 80% on em, you can not see in it at all.

 

I can see through my windows at night its medium at most but this guy said any tint is illegal. I thought it was only Limo tint that was Illegal in the front. As for the plate I took it off because I hate the stupid Dealer Labels all over and forgot to put the plate back on.........ooops Im not one to usually speed around town but sometimes you have to jump on it to change lanes especially when A holes dont let you over........

 

I got pulled over around midnight a while back for speeding in a parking lot (empty, by the way). The cops could not track me long enough to cite me for speeding, so instead they wrote me up for: my exhaust being too loud, my license plate not attached to the front of my car (was in front windshield, on dash), running a red light (no i didn't) and even got me out of my car because they had a su****ion that I had pot in there (i don't even smoke).

 

Thats real nice...last year I got a $1000 fine and 45 days in jail for having ONE(1) 12oz bottle of budweiser when i hadnt turned 21 yet.

any tint is illegal but only in the front windows on the back you can have it as dark as you i was told this by a california officer he told me to take my tint off the front but i could have wutever i wanted in the back i still didnt take it of hehehehehe

 

I have a coupe and i have 40% all around its old old tint. It has kinda a purplish tint to it. and it is peeling in areas. i hate it. you can see in in the day and at night. it sucks. COME ON BONUS CHECK!!! lol

I knew a guy that had a 95 SI hatch. he had 5 all the way around. you had to get up on it and put your hands on the glass and even then you couldn't see in it. He got busted in that car. he was doing like 125 in a 45 racing a guy after it had just got done raining it was like 7 pm kinda dark kinda not, in the middle of the late Late Y-12 rush. He got it impounded and he went to jail for like 3 days. he wound up selling it. lol
