Ever since Ive known my bf, he said he wanted a turtle. So one of my co-workers said she was getting a couple baby ones. The other night I went and got one from her. Its so cute! Its a Red eared Slider (aquatic) Turtle. Hes gonna live mostly with my boyfriend, but hes coming to my house tonite cause my boyfriend gets to see him do all this cute stuff, and Im missing it all. Heres a pic my bf took. He promised me that the light from his camera made the tank look dirtier than it actually is. Lets hope so. OO and his name is Philbert, my bf named him after some old Nickelodeon show. (Definitely would NOT have been my first choice of names, but its ok, I get to name the kids).

and amanda congrats on the turtle, i love reptiles as you may have guessed, i hear that those turtles get kinda big, but i don't know for sure. he looks cool... congrats again

 

Sadly Rocko isnt on anymore, and it hasnt been for forever. They should make a DVD box set of that. But anyway, turtles are great pets. My friend has one and just lets it walk around the house (which is a pain in the *** if you dont know its there). But turtles can get smelly if you dont keep their cages clean.

Apparently Rockos Modern Life is still on Nicktoons on digital cable.

I heard these turtles can get up to like 11 inches. Thats really big! And its tank will be kept clean all the time..I dont want any stinky turtle around here. Hes so cute, my bf just got here with him and I was holding him and tried feeding him a part of a grape cause I guess they eat grapes too. And he looked at it and looked and me..like I was crazy haha.

 

LOL, i get that look from my dragon all the time, but in the end he eats everything i give him. 11 inches you say, that is pretty big, but my dragon is about 20" right now, and 22" is full grown for a male.

 

thats cool, i like all that ociean creature stuff..i want to get a big fish take with a bunch of really crazy things,i got the tank..just not enoph money for the fish lol... i have a real stuffed turtle in my basement,i have no idea why
