Well since u have a stock 98 custom, which by the way is a great gun =), it's not a low pressure gun at all. Depends what your looking to upgrade in the future with your gun. For instance, my paintball gun runs at about 200-300 psi level with my regulator, so I would get a lower pressure tank So i can get more appropriate shots from one filling. Right now it really wouldnt make the biggest of the difference.
Which ones on ebay you looking at?

pure energy is really good brand, and it all depends on what your wanting to do int the future. Make sure that you get a pretty good hydro date on the gun. i would try to get them around 2010. also if the 98 is stock it shouldn't matter which air your gun, i mean i think the most that you would see is maybe a few more shots either way. Another advantage nitrogen isn't in liquid form when they put in the tank. also look to see if got carbon wrapping, thats what makes the tank more expensive. good luck with what ever you decide to run.

yea i was looking at 2010 as min. and yes, some tanks are wrapped with carbon. i run my gun just below 300psi (270-300). i was looking at pure energy too, 4500psi, but they are a bit pricey. i could go for a 3000psi but i dont know what a huge diff (if any in shots) that would make.

Your 98 custom is running more like 800-850, and that co2 tank is putting out anywhere btw 700-1000 psi, you want to get at least a 68ci 3000psi tank the 48 is useless....if you can afford the 4500 get it, but if your feild has all day fills it doesnt really matter....Luxfer is a material they use in most tanks, all pmi, which makes the hydro date 5 years as opposed to 3...the only real advantage of this upgrade to your markeris you wont freeze in the winter and you gun will be ever so slightly quiteter...if you dont plan on upgrading to a better marker you dont have to get this tank....

I had compressed in my early days on my 98 no big step up to air....but if you are going to move on to tourney ball and higher end makers by all means get the tank now so you dont have to spend the money later

In terms of high and low pressure output like i said your marker is high pressure and if you should upgrade to a low pressure marker you can always get a secondary reg.

hope that helps
