so i went to a custom auto store yesterday that is popular in the nyc area. my friends, friend came with us and gets all his work done their. about a month ago, he put a body kit on his 2006 mustang gt, he paid $2k just to put it on at the shop..... i told him he paid way to much.... he says its worth the money cause of the work they do... then i found out he paid 4k for a set of his rims at the store.. i was blown away... then wat i dfound out next drovve me insane..... he paid $1 k for each tire on his car...... so $4k in tires!!!!!!! maybe its just be but i found that 2 be ridiculous for toyo tires i dont care, unless ur a professional nascara driver or u hit the track eevryday theirs no need...... so i got as call 2day and my friend told me he got into an accient and his mustang is in bad shape... so he goes back to the store andpays another $5k to fix and repaint...... people drive me crazy[:'(]

Hmm. How old is this guy. If its a young mustang owner (not bashing mustangs i like em just not some of the usual drivers i see around my area) then I;m not suprised by your story.
15k on bodykit, rims, tires and repair. Thats half the price towards another stang. Tell you friend hes an idiot and to stop blowing his money.[:@]

hes not myt friend.... hes afriend of a friend.... yea hes my age around 18, i dont care if he wants to throw away his money, its that he doesnt know anything about anything, he likes to park in front of school and rev his engine all day, hes an idiot and not to mention he spent $550 on h.i.d.s, and that doesnt include installation......

Here's probably what happened:
He went it to the shop for the first time and as soon as he opened his mouth it didn't take them long to figure out that he's a sucker, a whale. So they figured they can give him any price they want and since he doesn't know $hit about $hit if he doesn't bite, they can come down and still make more than an avereage customer. Sad, sad, sad...
