I know eh, I told him, even if Gm cars could go 9k without throwing a rod, they make more power down low.

pushrod v8's sound damn good and are cake to work on

 

tell that to the zo6 with 500 reliable hp when it rolls up next to you at a stop light. or the dodge viper.

chevy actually had a corvette with a lotus built dohc v8. it was extremly expensive, yet only made 375 hp, and had hardly any torque. it was alot of power for the time, but push rods work great and they canmake tremoudous power.

 

i agree Pushrod V8's sound good, However the GTp is a V6[:'(]

om yeah, it may make 505 hp, but it has a freakin 7.0lt engine....how is that in any way an advancement of technology...
the rest of the world would have built a 4.0-5.0lt engine with the same numbers....
