Loaded question?

My father in law and I built the addition. He's been doing stuff like this for 30 years, it was quite the learning experience. City inspector came out to check it out and said it looked great. Just need to call them once i've got the siding on and they'll sign off on the final product.

The removal of the middle wall was done by myself and friends. I dont forsee any issues with the inspector there either.

o its just i found 2 minor things wrong with it when your looking at the window there is support boards above it but none below it idk what you call them we call them cripplers also you should have a bigger header above the window it keeps the pressure off the window and on the boards around it id suggest doubled 2x6's or possibly doubled 2x8's im kinda suprised that the inspector didn't catch it but besides that it looks great.

Yeah Robbo (SmokEM) has been busting my ***** over the window header for a while now, I'll get on it soon enough.

Sounds like you know your ****. I'd be intersted to know what you think about the support beam and posts through the middle.
