So as many of you know I have been sewing when I feel the need to smoke. Well as Mother's Day is Sunday and family is coming into town, I have felt the need a lot the last two days. LOL

So what do you get when you combine an addiction to sewing and a holiday where you need presents for female members of you family?





I did two more, but they are not finished yet. Who knew, you quit smoking and you become a seamstress?!?! ROFLMAO!!!!!!!! I NEED HELP!!! LOL

 

not bad. I used to take a few sewing classes a few years back. It was a good experience. Now i have to go buy presents for my mom.

 

Sick... I wish I had mad sewing skills yo.

just smoke and sew together.. u talking weed or cigarettes.. cuz if its cigs.. then NEWPORT! But anyway nice job on the bags.. i just got my ma a card , flowers, and chocolate .. u knwo the usual.

 

Cigs. 14 years. Almost two packs a day. Quit cold turkey. Mother's Day makes it a month.

thats close to 5 grand a year!!
you'd have enough to by another civic for that amount!!

but anyways, good job on quitting... the only thing i ever had to quit was coke

Yeah. I have been putting what I would have spent on smokes into a savings account each week. I can't wait to see how much I am gonna have in about six months. Not to mention, I am working out all time and so in six months I should have some cash to buy parts for the civic and six pack abs. LOL

you might as well start sewing quilts and make some money at local craftshows.

 

Funny that you mention that. Just this after noon I found out that I am gonna be selling my bags and maybe even some corsets at a local boutique. The lady that owns the shop saw one of my bags that my mom carries and asked if I would make a few for her to sell. We are splitting the profits 85/15. I figure if I can sell them for $30 each (($200 for the corsets)) then I will be making $25 bucks per purse. LOL Oh and I can make one from start to finish in 15 minutes. LOL Can you say easy money?
