i have received complaints from a few members now, and I see that there are a few guys actually complaining about the inability to use profanity. i posted on the issue, and wanted to reiterate the point that it specifically says in the rules that profanity is not permitted at HCF...

i cant be here all the time to make sure that profanity is removed and people typing ***** isnt cute, or funny...so it is no different than when it is spelled correctly. we also have to keep in mind that vendors visit the site, and vendors are what keep HCF free to the members. blatant and pointless use of profanity makes the forum look childish and unprofessional.

we understand that we cannot prevent all of the profanity, we are simply trying to avoid offending people. everyone here is more intelligent and articulate enough to avoid using some 8 or 9 words in the english language.

I agree with Patrick, after all, this is a Honda site. I'm sure there's a profanity site somewhere for those people that wanna talk it.
