Im not much for hip hop... but my girlfriend popped this in my cd player (which sounded really good on my system... she seemed to like it too lol) on the way home from Charlotte. I must say that this song has got me hooked. Ive always appreciated Nelly Furtado but this one really blows her others out of the water.

But for some reason, the song also just makes me think of her and forces me to smile... yea this is corny, I'll stop. I know, I know... its not the hardcore stone faced remmy you normally know. What can I say, I love my girl! She was my first love and we got back together again after 2 long years of me soul searching... what the hell was I thinking to let her go in the first place!? Thank god she took me back. I havent been happier in so long.

I have some pictures in my album of her... I plan on putting a lot more.

The first time I heard this song was live on SNL, and it sounded TERRIBLE then! I've heard it since then, sounds much better and I'll admit it's catchy.

True, but when did she blow up on the radio? When she came out with the song "Turn Out the Lights" which beat was masterfully created by..............................................Ti mbaland. It was several years back I know, but I haven't heard much of the name Furtado untill now when once again she collaborates with him. Maybe they'll be like the 21st century Sonny & Cher.

 

"Like a bird" was her first.. but it wasnt her style at all. "The party just begun" was another.
