I'm just gonna sit in my basement, and buy one on ebay to prove I have money to waste. Then I am going to laugh in the faces of people who stood in line all night because I never had to leave my house.

^ wtf r u talking about? beta versions, it's a system and it can only be pushed to its max- there is no upgrade to the later systems made.

ohh and I did mean the premium system, is the way to go...


And blu ray is just for HDDVD...I don't buy a gaming system to watch dvd's, I like to play games

 

Blu-Ray reading speeds are much slower than DVD's as of now, and it looks to be that way for the near future too.

um yeah...dev kits are what the developers use to make games on thier comps, which can only do so much, and that "so much" is no where near the 360 or PS3 limits...
for instance, look at the xbox when it first came out...when it was in the beta kit stages...and now look at some of the top best looking games on it...they changed with the computers, and the kits used to make the games....
so when both companies get the best software for the consoles,and thier comps can run the games with no problem, that's when we will be able to say who has the better graphics, and who has the better effects, better AI, etc....
and along the lines of developers, microsoft has the better 3rd party developers....the only one that sony has over microsoft is Hideo Kojima and he prob wont sell over to microsoft, though i wish he would....

 

So, if you're one of the sorry suckers that waits in line all night for one of these things, will they let you buy two? I'd like to get two, and sell one on E-Bay the next day to pay for the one I keep

 

^In honesty that is a good idea. Im thinking about getting a PS3 and selling it on ebay. Anybody know how many they are shipping out opening day?

 

If you pre-order 2 and the store is going to get anuff to give 2 then buy 2 and sale 1. If your the first few people to pre-order then you should get 2 with no probs. Also they are only shipping 400,000 to the U.S. is what was reported on G4. Also if you pre-order you dont have to wait in line all night they will call and be like we are giving PS3's at 6 p.m and you just walk in and get yours.

 

^^^^ main point. your already making $300 on just the blueray player alone. then on top of that, you the best gaming system out right now..for free. i will never complain about that price.


and for all who are sad about gamestop and all them being out already (which they are) .. i will share a secret with you.


wal-mart will be receiving the ps3's on nov the 17th. they are not doing a pre order / waiting list..so i suggest you bring a sleeping bag..

 

man i hope i find somewhere thats doin pre-orders. im not doin any camping out lol. is toysrus doing pre-orders?
