I have both Playstation and Playstation 2. I hate XBOX. THe controller sux *****. I played Halo on PC which i really liked. I Played Halo on my friends XBOX and i was like WTF this sux. THe difference was the stupid controller. Playstation has the best controller design. If memory serves correct XBOX had like the whole of 3 good games so i dunno where you get this good game developers crap. Secondly, how is PS3 not a good value. A Blu Ray DVD player costs around $1000, if you bought PS3 and just used it to play Blu Ray DVDs it would still be a good value. The only reason i'm not buying a PS3 is because i don't have the money to do so.

I would like to know how many PS3's Ben has had on hand and played to talk **** on them. That is like me sitting here and talking trash on a 2010 honda civic because I have looked at the specs on it. I for one hate XBOX's controllers and game selection along with microsofts lack of ability to put a product on the market that is not plauged with problems.
I am stating this out of specs, and out of game developers being paid off by microsoft. Of course I haven't played it yet its not out, but I do know the specs on it, how they compare to the 360, and how it has blue ray and that is the main reason its price tag is so high. I think the system is ugly, it is turtlebacked and looks like crap. Colors are not in my favor, and as for game developers that system is screwed. He can buy them all he wants, i'll still think they're a waste guys, just the way you do not like the 360's. Oh and the 360 is anything BUT an inferior system. It dominates the online gaming industry, has a better outreach on game developers, and not to mention its market place is outstanding. In just a week gamers will be able to rent movies off the marketplace, and have them returned without gettingt out of there seat. Not to mention be able to watch t.v. shows they missed. And as for forty calling me a dork, I could call you a queer for loving cars so much. Different strokes for different folks, you can't classify me as a nerd because I am educated in the gaming world.

Oh and marty, every launch system to date has had small problems here and there. When PS2's came out they had flaws, dreamcast had flaws, xbox had flaws. Don't try and say microsoft can't put out a system that is bug free or flawless. Flaws in launch systems is inevitable, you'll eat those words when the PS3 comes out and it has problems as well.

Oh and agent, go do research before you say "a whole 3 good games." I'd like you to go to different sites, and look up the consumer ratings for the games microsoft has produced. I don't even have to look to know the majority have an 8.0 or higher rating. And thats for Game Critics, and the general public.

Dude im not trying to **** anyone off, and I can see how it came off as that. I am though stating facts, that the PS3 does not offer that much power over the 360, and blue ray is what is making it cost so much. When in reality, blue ray doesn't look much better than hd which is what the 360 offers anyway. That will only come in handy if you are an avid movie fanatic. Buy what you will, but to marty, agent, and whoever else doubts microsoft you are foolish. It is an extremely powerful system with exteme funding backing it. It has already gone to levels other systems can't, and won't be going. It is in no way inferior, and we all just need to chill Sorry if I came off dikish poly, if you want the system its your every right to buy em. More power to you if you get rich off doing this as well.

I dont think games has much to do with the systems. Sony, MS and Nintendo deliver the platforms, how good the games are depended on how long the developers have time to develop the game or how good they are. Sony PS2 has a huge 3rd party support from Japanese developers (whom take pride seriously with their games) and the xbox didnt (and probably never will) get those kind of support when it come out.

For the controller, the xbox controller is perfect for FPS or third person shooter. Once you mastered it, it's hard to tell difference between the controller and a mouse. A Shadowrun developer (a cross platform game which pc gamers can compete with xbox 360 gamers) said they have to add certain features for pc gamers so that they dont get beat so badly because a guy w a controller. If you dont like it, you must be new to it. The xbox 360 controller is a much much better version of the xbox s controller. I can see why yous guys said it copies ps2 dual shock because of the shoulder buttons but the PS3's SIXAXIS will have a guide button and trigger-like L2, R2 just like the 360 controller. Most of the ideas in business come from competitors dont you know?

Microsoft is a software company, yeah their hardware might not be as good as sony (I am a long time Sony buyer) but the xbox 360 is packed with enormous features that basically only they can. A big hard drive will be obsolete when you can stream all your media from your computer. Xbox Live gets even better with the 360, if you have played Gears of War co op, you will know what I am talking about.

In the end, MS and Sony has its own consumer base, some are both, like me but I'll give you one advice: If you trully want a blue ray player, get the PS3; if you dont, a xbox 360 wont disappoint ya.

Edit: Oh, for the soon-to-be PS3 owner, You will be enjoying most of the things I've been in a year.

You're still missing the point completely. Let me sum it up for ya, average PS players don't give a **** about XBOX or it's comparisons

^That is my point. To tell the truth I dont give a rats *** about any of the techno babble anyone wants to spit off their tounge. I know what system I like better, I know which controller I like better, I know what game selection I like better. You get down to it I may play my PS2 like 2 hours a week. I work, I have a life, I am not a kid, so I dont care. The blue ray is where high res, high def quality is going. Doubt me? I spend 2 hours every week in a meeting at work with them shoving vid quality, industry standards, and future tech down our throat.

Microsoft also has had a history of rushing products onto the market. Everything from Windows 98 to the 360 were pushed onto the market w/o the correct support inline for them. Not saying Sony has not done this but Microsoft has a history of doing it ALL THE TIME. Either way I dont even know why I am posting because you get down to it.....it's video games, I dont really care to much about them.......it's a part of growing up.
