have you noticed that though? all of fords "fast" cars are alwaysn factory forced induction...i posted a picture a while back of the new blown hemi crate motor...900 drop in HP..and someone commented..."the picture is blurry, but it has a supercharger, is it a ford?"

 

I know what you mean. Ford failed to produce a reliable high power N/A engine(302's, 351's, 390's) so they took a truck engine(5.4's out of the triton V8 equiped F-150's) and added boost to make up for their lack of abilities. The 03/04 Cobra made around 390hp which is pretty good and all but right across the road is a LS2 that makes 10 more hp and then I need not mention the LS7. On top of that Dodge has the Hemi pushing 425hp.

 

and that ^^^ is why the Mustang GT is a big step-up for ford.
