Its a good thing you were out of the car when you got hit from the back. With the airbag already deployed, there's no way you would have survived. Wow, and a deer is a 100-200 pounds, another car is a few thousand. It's all about conservation of momentum-a car could have done you in if you were in it. Especially at a collision of that speed, normally lots of rear endings happen when the car in front is moving which defrays some of the impact speed, but yours was still. Holy ****, thank god for your life man.

Just use a little elbow grease. But in all seriousness... JESUS CHRIST! Was this the fattest deer that ever lived? Glad you're fine. This is why every chance I get, I slow down and scream "YOU SUCK" at the deer walking on the side of the road.

Holy crap man, thats even worse than I'd imagined it... sorry for the loss. Hope the ladies are okay as well. If they are, I sure hope they learned a valuable lesson from this.

Sorry man, airbags are a great thing, but they are not of much help when one is rear-ended...

 

Yeah....you just gotta pray your head is against the headrest at the time of the impact...

 

Some people actualy believe that headrest's sole purpose is the rest place for their head
And adjust them accordingly....
