im in the market for a good radar detector. i used to have a V1 a few years ago but sold it so i had some extra $$$ for my downpayment on my house. it was a great unit and would love another one but cannot justify spendin $400+ for another one. any ideas on a good one for aroudn $200 or so???

i have an escort 7500.....works great for me. picks up every band so far that the local pd use.

the feedback i have gotten at fnsweet has been theescort 8500. so no on to find a deal

good luck finding a deal.....those things are expensive. but then again you can also get that add on which soaks up the popo radar beams<IMG src=smileys/smiley2.gif border="0">
