so last night me and my buddy wereout driving around looking for **** to do, we pulled up next to like an 04 mustang GT so you know its fast. so any ways this guy is all ansy in is pants and like reving his engine and **** so i was like we should race this guy. and seriously my car is stock si (and its canadian) so not with the b18.
any ways back to this race, the light changed and i dont know what this guy was watching but i took off so much sooner and faster then him, best part is he kicked my *** once he caught up but i let off the gas once i got to like 60km and he went speeding past thinking hes all fast i just laughed

 

and other people tell of some great stories

 

So I have a CBR600RR and one time this guy in a Cobalt SS is at the light next to me. The speed limit on the road is 55. Naturally I blow the guy away and ride normally at like 60. Then the guy pulls up again (really long road w/ no lights) and I continue to smoke him again. I would have thought he would give up after 2 *** rapings, but he decided to come back for thirds.

 

I f**ked with a newer corvette on my bike before... took him to 120 and walked on him, did that like three times. Man, do I miss that thing.

Then there's the time I shut a ricer's fly-by attempt down in the mustang... He merges onto the highway I'm driving on, sees me, does a double lane change, and mashes the gas. I clutch in, shift to third, and wait until he's literally right beside me. I dropped the clutch and floored it; his front bumper never passed mine lmao (keep in mind I was doing about 70 before the gear change, I'd guess he was doing about 90 from how fast he was gaining). Then after he caught up (I threw her in neutral and coasted back down to 70), he got ahead of me in the other lane, and hit the brakes to try to get alongside me. My guess is he wanted to roll-race, which is teh gayness (whereas shutting someone's flyby down is just funny).

But to the OP: Yeah, s197 GT's are slow as f**k. 5.1 seconds from a dead stop to 60mph and 13.5 in the quarter-mile. Civics with d16y8's are much faster at 8.4 seconds 0-60 and 16.7 in the quarter.

and as for my story, it happened whether or not you believe it, like yes i know the car is much faster in every way basically, so maybe the driver just sucks at life

remember its not a race unless the other car knows its a race also

 

NO civic came with a B18, just so you know.
