You call that a personal attack? You created this thread to complain about everyone's treatment of you. What did you expect, us to apologize and beg and plead for you to stay on the forum? This ain't kindergarten; we don't care about your feelings here. And by the way, if I was launching a personal attack, it would've been a little harsher than just calling you a whiny little b***h.

*edit: Ron, I'm all for being nice, but when someone makes a thread like this they're literally begging to be flamed.

I still fail to see how this thread is offensive to anybody... seems like a normal OT/Lounge thread to me.

I agree that a lot of freedom must be given to all posts made in The OFF Topic and The Lounge sections. I just didn't understand the problem with the OP's original signature picture, though I may have played a mistaken role in this issue. I think the OP justifiably reacted to the complaint and was then subjected to a gang attack by you guys. I mean no disrespect but, in my opinion, sometimes the best response to even an angry member should be no response at all. In most cases, the problem would just go away all by itself. I worry about this forum when things get so ugly.

Honestly, I didn't even see his "offensive" sig/avi... I just commented on his handling of the situation.

Ron, i was PMd by 3 members in addition to being told by a few via AIM. I kindly asked him in a PM to remove it...He changed it to something of equal substance. He asked for this and had he changed it to something suitable initially, we could have bypassed this

Trent, I apologize for being a pain in the ars. I know it isn't an easy job being Mods and Admins. I believe that I saw both of the OP's previous sigs. I just didn't see what was so offensive, but I could certainly have missed something subtle. I do understand you taking action, though, if you had received member complaints. I just want to see HCF grow and prosper as a Civic site.

I understand that. I didnt see anything offensive either, but when I receive numerous complaints, I need to do something about it. I'm not saying they would have left or gotten mad, but I'd rather see this site lose one member (lowlife) as opposed to a few others because nothing was done.
