this happened to my the other night and i'm still laughing.
i was just sitting at a light the other night comming back from my girlfriends house, when this kid in a focus pulls up next to me. i didn't feel much up to a race that night so i just decided to toy with him. he keeps looking over at me so i rev my engine and he gets all excited. so once the light turns green this joker floor is from 1st, to 2nd, but was so excited that he accidentally threw it back into 1st instead of 3rd. so the car sounds like it's about to blow up, he freaks out and slams on the bakes, and stalls the car. i of course hadn't even moved from the light yet, i was just sitting there laughing my *** off at him. i floored it by him and he stayed behind me on the road the rest of the way, probably out of embarassment. feel bad for him though, grinding that first gear didn't sound good in the least

that makes me laugh. im only 16 but i dont think ive ever missed a gear before. i stalled once...but that was while my dad was teaching me to drive manual (for the record...i didnt stall on my first try :P). he mustve gotten pretty happy if he missed a gear. thats actually quite funny.
