Dunno if anyone has the sport around them, but for the past 3 years i have been playing rugby on a club team and gradually gotten better. Im probably one of the best in my position in my area(northern WV to Pitt and so on) but I just turned 17 about a month or two ago and today I got a letter from the University Of California inviting me to their rugby camp for free(its usually a 450 dollar admission) now im like great going to a rugby camp this summer. I get on to look when it is, and it starts tomorrow. Im totally bummed now since the letter was postmarked on June 2nd. Oh well always next year

 

I had some friends who played for Pitt's rugby team when i was in school..they were some hardcore guys.

yea you think football is phsyical....damn rugby will kick footballs ***. a mix of football and soccer with no pads. now thats hardcore.

 

it is a really fun sport though. i played it just for fun and was sooooooo sore the day after. but i really enjoied it

Its a hardcore sport, I used to play it in school. Didnt think anybody played it in the states, well done getting on the camp.

 

Hardcore in a different way.... I was watching some rugby while i was in London and it pretty much looks like a free for all with people grabbing each other. I didn't find it at all entertaining. I'd much rather watch/play football. Yea, i know ur gonna say football players wear pads but at least they don't look like panzies.
