you would think with that heavy motor in the front it would weight the front end down and not the back.

i also like the long shifter

id rather do an AWD conversion if i had unlimited money to put into my civic.
Yeah but seems to me that as long as you have the know-how, doing a RWD conversion would be a lot cheaper than doing an AWD conversion. I mean from what his ad says, it sounds like they just used the FWD transaxle and hooked it up to the rear wheels instead. I didn't know you could do that, but assuming you can, it would obviously be cheaper than buying a whole new AWD tranny and making it work with a Civic.
The AWD stuff from the CRV is relatively easy to get on a civic from what I understand, just gotta worry about where things will fit.

waist of money and time, the weight distro is way off I'd bet and it would handle like crap. Plus all that work for a crappy v6 to go in it, if you convert to rwd go with a LS1 or a LT1 V8 IMO

No offense but did you even read the listing? He put the transaxle in the back and claims 48/52 front/rear weight distro. I'm not saying it's true, but that's what he claims. Also how the hell would you fit a V8 in a civic?

That's news to me. Do you have any links? I'd like to see that, it's got to be quite a sight.
