Safari on PC

RE: Safari on PC
IE7 is really, really horrible. I've been using Firefox for years and love how versatile it is. Open Source is really the way to go. There's so much you can add on and change and personalize it's great. And if you like the look of Apple programs you can get themes for Firefox that make it look almost exactly like iTunes/Safari. Maybe when Safari gets out of beta they'll make some changes, but right now it just seems like a Mac program that wasn't adequitly ported to Windows.

RE: Safari on PC
Lol, Apple must be out of their mind. Safari to compete with Firefox and Opera? Not so sure
"Security?" I was cracked after just 2 hours http://www.betanews.com/article/Day_...are/1181661606
Fastest browser? Not so sure...

Nice to have another choice but a competitor on Windows platform? Meh

RE: Safari on PC
i'm using safari on my wife's laptop peecee right now. it's comparible to firefox on the same laptop.
i prefer safari's interface a helluva lot better, so i guess i'll be using this instead.
btw, who ever said safari was buggy on the peecee is full of crap. And the plug-in performance is pretty much the same including flash and windows media files.
and as for text legibility, there is no comparison. safari wins hands down.
