Yes it was a joke!!! For the most part ford makes pretty decent engines, but they always have a problem with some of the little things. Like my damn seatbelt retractors,lol.

 

i have never seen the saleen focus before the only ones ive seen are the roush ones. they look ok but i hate the hatchback styles of everything.

Good idea to strap some Nitrous to it. That way people will be blowing their **** up left and right, and bringing in to the techs to get fixed. It's genious really..

Yeah, I think it's hilarious that there is a "tricked out" Focus. It almost like "pimpin'" a geo metro. That's a decision that Saleen dropped the ball on.

 

those things are junk.

I recall that when sloleen released them, they were all the rage against the SRT4 people...unitl everyone realized what a joke they are...if i recall correctly, the nitrous stuff is there, but its not functional. as soon as you make it functional, you void ALL warranties...and come on..it needs a 75 shot to make 225hp?

saleen should stick to what they know best, and that is helping middle aged men with fat wallets and tiny ***ks feel better about themselves by heavily overcharging for a mild performance car.

 

No offense, but that little Focus would tear the V6 stang apart. Heck, I raced a V6 stang (auto) in my 2.slo Jetta from 35mph and was able to keep up with it quite well.

 

with the bottle hooked up it would tear the V6 mustang apart...but NA, it would be close...

 

The fact of the matter still stands, IT'S A FOCUS!!
