Thats not a bad a idea about emailing the teacher and giving some BS answer as to why you aren't going to be in class. I wouldn't think that you would have to re-register. But you do need to go to the concert

It really depends on the class/college. I goto a big school and alot of my classes are like 75 student lectures so the teacher won't even notice you gone. However, if you class has like 20-30 people then you teacher might notice you gone. I skipped a crap load of class last semester, but that was b/c the teacher couldn't teach.
