Note to self: mxs is female.

We should have little gender icons for the girlies.

I figured putting my name in my signature would help, but evidently it's not working

Right on. Cribs tour upcoming.

How old are you LEVIII, and what the hell is UTEC? It sounds like a marine motor.

Dude, when you write that check and you know it's going to equity instead of someone else's pocket, that outhouse looks a lot better. Buying is really not that much more (if at all) than renting.

^exactly, which is why i need to get my head out from under my hood and start looking into getting myself a pad. But like Civtegra, i got a bad *** duplex right now too, its set up exactly how i want it, and thats kinda hard to leave. But then again all it would really take is a basement (preferably unfinished so i can do it myself), and a two car garage for a decent price and i'm outta this place.

Oh yeah, and Congrats on your new home Sniper!

I'm saving up to buy a piece of land somewhere in the middle of nowhere and build a nice "out house" for myself...

Guys and Gals,

Im 20, and am renting, I agree that it aint much more to buy, but the banks here in the UK will NOT give you a mortage anymore lol. They will give me 3.5 times my salary which equates to around £50000. And when u think a cheap house here in the UK is now at £120K. Its daylight robbery, i could build a massive house (which i have already designed) for £100K but need the land. I can not believe that a house which is just bricks and mortar is worth so much, its unreal and it dont help that around 45% of my wage is TAX. I mean, Council tax, Genral goods at 17.5% taxed, Rent is taxed, Petrol equates to around 20% Tax.
Anyway, thats my daily moan done lol.

Oh and congrats on the house

Congrats on the House. Here in New York, rent is just as high as a mortgage. Basement Studio bedroom apartment runs you in a bad neighborhood around $900. For $900 I can pay mortgage and own a home. Me and the wifey are working on it but I have future plans to move to Florida or North Carolina.

Anyway, hook up the house like you hook up your car.
Congrats again.
