So on Horsepower TV
inferior but "cost effective" parts from the OEM. restrictive and heavy. my friends trans am was a mental case when he put on edelbrock headers, carb, etc. same with afriends jeep with a 350.

so it seems to me a larger pulley really isn't worth that much power.

I dont think they are really tuning these cars to the most optimum levels. an I/H/E Cobra with a 2.8" pulley and your talking upwards of 500whp. But the key is with a GOOD tune.
The pulley is a very smart move, but a full exhaust, intake and some aftermarket header along with a good tune and you should see at least 480whp.

I don't want to ruin it for anybody but they blow the camaro up, they spin a main when they take it to the track. 500whp for the cobra would probly be with some kind of intercooled system? most people won't run 14psi and no intercooler would they?
