Default So this is what I do with my free time

Anyone here into or own any arcade cabinets? I don't have the tools or time to build a cab from scratch so I used an old beat up Joust cabinet. My arcade Cab has over 2000 arcade games, every Nes, Snes, Sega genesis and Master System game ever made. This video really needs updating, I've added a few things (working coin door) since I posted the video. I plan on making a new more detailed video sometime soon.

This isn't me in the vid, it's my cousin.

Looks nice... My only complaint about complete romsets is the fact that people keep every single version of every single ROM. Just one will do ya!

Looks really good, though. I'm jealous.

I have something like that, but about 100 times smaller. Emulators on a slim psp

But I wouldn't mind an arcade cabinet with the same thing. Is there a way to update it because you could easily put GBC, GBA, and N64 games on there.

and don't forget the Simpsons Arcade Game

I hate it also, I mentioned there's about 2000 arcade games but there's almost 7000 roms! So it is a pain to scroll through all of those roms just to get to the one game you want, but it would take me forever to edit through all of the unnecessary roms, so I just put up with the little annoyance.

I could easily if I wanted to add GBA or GBC but I don't like how the games look on the monitor, they end up looking pixelated. I'm not too big on the N64, but I do have about about 30 N64 games on it that I like and also it's a Jukebox, I just forgot to mention it. And the Simpsons arcade game does get a good bit of play

If you're going to make one from complete scratch, you're going to need a good bit of time, have all of the tools and have some wood working knowledge, which I don't have. I just went to a local vendor here and asked him if he had any empty cabinets he didn't want, after that it's just securing a monitor to it, adding a computer and building the controls. Building the controls isn't too hard, you could either hack PC controllers or buy an encoder like THIS. After that you just wire all of you're buttons and switches and it connects to you're computer through USB.

I have a 52 inch LCD that has S-video input on it, my graphics card has S-video out, so there's a good bit of times I connect it to my tv and play the games on Playstation controllers using a Playstation to USB connector, I also have a Playstation steering wheel I can use for racing games, although the LCD will be moved into our bedroom so our kids don't destroy it, so soon it'll only be on a 32 inch tv. I really need a bigger place for an entertainment room!

You should build a projector like the one I have been working on...Here is just one of my screenshots. 11 feet wide, and 8 feet high:
