ORIGINAL: Mad7s

democrats are one step from communists and if that gets me kicked off this
forum, I will go smiling, knowing once again dems can't take truth
And republicans are greedy insensitive swines who push for the interests of the elite working to increasee their already grotesque wealth at the expense of those in the middle and bottom. I'll say it, extreme Republicans are Fascists. Go ahead. Try it. Mussolini made it far.
"Some people call you the elite, I call you my base" <--------your boy on video courtesy of Farenheit 9/11.
how is it at the expense of the middle and bottom? this is a capitalistic society, and IMHO, there is NO GOOD REASON to be less sucessful than you want to be. I know what i want in life, and i am working 50-60 hours a week to pay the bills while my wife is in school, and then i come home and put in 2-3 hours of research for my own business, and im also working on a couple of patents. i know what i want in life, and thats why i lean a very little bit to the right from my place in the middle of the road. i dont think my hard work should be used to pay for lazy *** people to sit on welfare in a country that is full of possibility. i hate paying taxes that are just going to people who have no ambition to pull themselves up out of the slums. if i am wealthy, and want to help out the less fortunate, i will donate money to charities. i refuse to donate anything to homeless adults (homeless children are a different story) because there is no reason, other than they dont care enough about themselves or society, to go out and get a damn job and contribute something to society. yet i will give generously to charities that give a hand up, not a hand out. if you are on the bottom without moving up, its your own fault. and i know this is going to **** people off, and thats why i usually stay out of these political threads.

Although it is true that there are people who abuse the welfare system what is not true is that all people on welfare are homeless and lazy. There are some jobs that people work that do not pay enough for the people who work them to live. These are the working poor. My teacher told me once that if you don't think that welfare is necessary, get one of these jobs and see if you can live on it. Unfortunatly, not everyone is educated and skilled and they have to work these jobs. And when 7s was talking about the wealthy getting rich on the poor, i think he was talking about the executive that try to pay thier employees as little as possible. They practice cut throat buisness and don't give a **** about anyone but themselves. So what about people who work jobs for these executives? Its is clear that th employer does not care at all for the employee.

quit. get a job doing construction cleanup or wiping tables in McDs, if you are willing to work, and can say the alphabet and count all your fingers and toes, you can find a job. i worked jobs i hated, and i wont do it again. if a job is all that bad, move on. i hate dealing with customer service people who hate their jobs, it is pretty obvious to the consumer. and if enough working class people move on from under a bad boss, he will fail or change his ways. thats the power of the working man. and i think welfare is necessary, but not under its current state (though it is starting to improve a little) i know people who used it as a hand up while recovering from a crippling divorce, working three jobs and going to school full-time while raising three kids, and now she is pretty much independently wealthy. and they were only on welfare long enough to get on their feet. thats what its for. i also know people who have been on it for years and years, and use the cash they come across for pot and beer. they are the dredges of society. if you cant pay for damn food for your kids, CUT OUT THE VICES, dont just raise my taxes to pay for more food stamps.

I agree with you on welfare. But the thing is that there isn't one bad employer out there, every big corporation is doing it. This is how the american buisness mindset is. Pay the employees as little as possible. And wiping tables at McDs is one of the jobs u can work and still be poor.

if you are looking for a conspiricy, you can usually find one, whether there is one or not. yet another reason to ignore that diarrhea spewed out in Michael Moore movies.

ive seen it before. ive also seen a lot of things like that where it was a college project in film editing. its amazing what you can do with decent video editing equiptment. if there was no plane that hit the pentagon, where is the plane that supposedly did it?
